Peer Review

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) suggests the best evidence of any CPA firm's quality is best displayed by the results of its peer review. Required for our continuing membership in the SEC Practice Section and the Private Companies Practice Section of the AICPA, peer reviews involve rigorous study by an independent public accounting firm of our quality control policies and procedures. Areas examined include independence, integrity and objectivity; personnel management; acceptance and continuance of clients and engagements; engagement performance; and monitoring.

Having completed our seventh such review, we are proud to report that Selden Fox received the highest possible ranking - an opinion that we meet all of the quality control and professional standards established by the AICPA, without a letter of comment for any corrective actions. This is a rare accomplishment, even among national firms. It is also a true testimony of the quality of work Selden Fox provides. The accompanying opinion is from our most recent peer review.
