Selden Fox is proud to announce that Donald F. Dvorak has joined its firm as an audit vice president.

Previously serving as a controller of a publicly held mid-sized manufacturing company, working within an internal audit group at a Fortune 500 company, and handling audit and tax services at public accounting firms, Don brings a unique perspective in the area of accounting services, auditing and tax consulting. He can concentrate on accounting services and review of the organization’s day-to-day accounting practices to ensure compliance with the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and he can provide tax consulting by reviewing the organization’s structure and financial statements to provide advice on how to minimize tax liabilities in the future. He also has extensive experience in compilation, review and audit services.

Don is a licensed CPA and graduated with a B.A.A. in accounting from Loyola University Chicago (1988). He is a graduate of Fenwick High School. He most recently practiced at Weiss Sugar Dvorak & Dusek Ltd. in Chicago.

Don is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society, and formerly served as a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. Don also serves as a member of the finance council of St. John of the Cross Parish.
