With experience serving as a controller of a publicly held mid-sized manufacturing company, working within an internal audit group at a Fortune 500 company, and handling audit and tax services at public accounting firms, Don Dvorak brings a unique perspective to his clients in the areas of accounting services, auditing and tax consulting. The added value he offers clients is his ability to identify and address the components within a client’s financial management system, processes and / or procedures that impact efficiency and success within the organization.
Don focuses his efforts on the priorities of the client. He can concentrate on accounting services and review of the organization’s day-to-day accounting practices to ensure compliance with the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and he can provide tax consulting by reviewing the organization’s structure and financial statements to provide advice on how to minimize tax liabilities in the future. Don also has extensive experience in compilation, review and audit services. And finally, he has experience providing advice on cost recovery services, including accounts payable and contract compliance audits.
Don is a registered CPA and graduated with a B.A.A. in accounting from Loyola University Chicago (1988). He is a graduate of Fenwick High School. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society, and formerly served as a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
