Selden Fox is pleased to announce the following promotions:
- Jessica L. Holzknecht and Andrew C. Miller, CPA have been promoted to audit supervisor
- Brett W. Bayer has been promoted to tax supervisor
- Sarah M. Beninato, CPA has been promoted to audit senior
- Nicole E. Olsen has been promoted to senior accountant
Holzknecht graduated from Augustana College with a degree in accounting and theatre. Miller earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Augustana College (Rock Island, IL). Holzknecht and Miller both handle audit field work for a variety of the firm’s clients, taking responsibility for specific portions of audits, compilations, and reviews.
Bayer joined Selden Fox in 2017 earning his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Elmhurst College where he was also a member of the football and baseball teams. Bayer conducts tax research in coordination with tax compliance and planning in addition to preparing tax returns for individuals and closely held businesses.
Beninato served as an intern at the firm while attending Illinois State University (ISU) where she earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in accountancy. Beninato has been responsible for portions of the audit fieldwork and has helped prepare financial statements and management letter comments.
Olsen, a member of the firm’s accounting solutions team, assists clients with day-to-day processing support including reconciling bank accounts, general ledger maintenance, resolving account discrepancies, posting payroll, and other month-end general ledger entries. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Augustana College. During college, Nicole was a four-year member of the varsity swim team.
