Erik’s public accounting practice includes auditing, accounting services, and tax preparation for clients across a variety of sectors. He provides these services for privately held businesses, employee benefit plans, and nonprofit organizations.
Erik began his career with Selden Fox in 2004 upon graduating from Augustana College where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. He moved on to serve as an audit manager at another public accounting firm when his family relocated to Rockford in 2008. In 2019, he became controller of a software company serving urgent care centers and subsequent to a merger transitioned to the manager of revenue and billing. He rejoined Selden Fox in late 2020, bringing with him a combination of nearly 15 years of public accounting experience as well as a view of the client perspective with his roles in private industry.
Erik is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Illinois CPA Society. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing hockey, and writing songs to play on his guitar.
