Garth co-leads the firm’s auto dealer operations practice. Garth has more than 40 years of experience in tax planning, tax research and compliance for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and proprietorships, as well as trusts and estates. He works primarily with auto dealerships and their owners, providing attestation, taxation, and accounting services based on the need of the client.
Prior to joining Selden Fox, Garth was a partner at Richard T. DeSimone & Co., a niche accounting firm with a 50-year history of serving the automobile dealer industry, where he began his career in 1979.
Garth received his Bachelor of Science in accountancy from the University of Illinois in 1979. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
