Selden Fox is a mid-sized CPA firm offering a comprehensive range of accounting, auditing, tax and management services. Summer Audit Interns will learn and participate in a variety of audit engagements for privately held corporations, governmental and nonprofit entities. Sample industries on which intern may be engaged include municipalities, nonprofits, trade/professional associations, benefit plans, educational institutions and financial organizations.
We seek bright and assertive individuals working toward a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting with the goal of attaining CPA certification. Candidates should possess at least 15 hours of accounting coursework. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred. Candidates must be computer savvy (Microsoft Office products), possess outstanding communication skills, and enjoy regular client interaction at various locations. Travel during the internship is limited to Chicago metropolitan area.
