Selden Fox is excited to announce that over the past several months, the firm has added several new auditors to its team.
Erik Anderson, CPA joined the firm as an audit vice president. Erik comes to the firm with more than 15 years of audit experience. He began his accounting career at Selden Fox in 2004 after receiving his undergraduate degree from Augustana University. In 2007, he moved to Rockford where he joined Farrell & which merged with Clifton Larson Allen in 2010. Erik continued his time in public accounting through early 2018 when he moved into private industry before rejoining Selden Fox in early 2021.
Jeffery Dertz, CPA is our newest manager of accounting and auditing standards bringing our audit quality control standards team to three professionals. Jeff joined the firm in November 2020 and brings more than 25 years of audit experience in public accounting, including having oversight of quality control procedures at previous accounting firms.
And recent graduates Sarah Beninato, Kollin Kaczynski, and Jourdain Lane joined the firm as audit associates. Beninato makes a return to the firm after interning for the past two summers at Selden Fox. She earned her bachelor’s degree of science/master’s degree of professional accountancy from Illinois State University (ISU). Kaczynski earned his bachelor’s degree of science/master’s degree of professional accountancy from ISU. He previously held a couple public accounting internships and worked at the ISU comptroller’s office. Lane earned her bachelor’s degree of science in accounting and human resources from ISU.
