Selden Fox is pleased to announce the following promotions among its accountants. Effective October 1, Drew Bogren has been promoted to audit manager, and Sylvia Helegda has been promoted to tax manager.
Bogren joined Selden Fox in 2011 after earning his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Augustana College. Drew oversees several audits for credit unions, nonprofits, and privately held businesses. He also has performed significant internal audit work in addition to corporate and individual tax return preparation.
Helegda provides tax compliance, review and planning for the firm’s privately held businesses and business owners. She earned her bachelor’s degree in international relations and history from Lake Forest College, and she earned her JD and LLM in tax law from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Prior to joining Selden Fox in late 2019, she worked at a Big 4 accounting firm.
