The following information is from several reports published over the past several months by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE):

  • Percentage of employers who screen candidates by GPA – 37%
  • Average number of days from interview to job offer – 26 days
  • Percentage of interviews resulting in a job offer – 47.5%
  • Average number of days from job offer to acceptance – 12 days
  • Percentage of offers being accepted – 69.3%
  • Average percent of eligible interns converted to full-time employees – 51.8%

Also from NACE:

  • Nearly 85% of employers indicated that internships are the top recruiting tool compared to career fairs (9%) and on-campus visits (3%).
  • Two-thirds of employers found the return on investment (ROI) of in-person career fairs to be somewhat or extremely good, while nearly the same percentage (62%) perceive the ROI on virtual career fairs to be somewhat or extremely bad.
  • The focus of nearly 70% of employers has been on in-person recruiting activities, but indicated the about one-third of their recruiting efforts will be conducted virtually.
