Hank Demlow has more than 30 years of experience providing audit and consulting services to many of the firm's non-profit clients. Presently, Hank has full responsibility for directing and supervising approximately 30 engagements annually, of which about a third qualify as tax-exempt organizations. Other areas of focus include serving organizations in the retail, governmental, agriculture and service industries.

A consistent, diligent professional with an old-fashioned work ethic, Hank is intensely dedicated to his work. Thus, he continuously strives to give clients the highest-quality service, to answer their inquiries in a timely manner, to regularly follow up on open issues, and, as he says, “to make certain nothing ever falls through the cracks.”

As an officer of the firm, Hank is also highly invested in the future leaders of the firm, and serves as a regular presenter at in-house non-profit staff training.

Prior to joining Selden Fox, Hank began his career at a mid-sized public accounting firm that served businesses throughout Illinois from 12 locations. During his tenure there, he was promoted three times and ultimately took responsibility for managing one of the firm’s offices. He received his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Eastern Illinois University.

Hank is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society and the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives. Hank has volunteered his time to participate in several school projects and YMCA programs, and has been actively involved in coaching youth soccer at the park district and traveling club levels. He currently serves as a group work camp leader for his church high-school youth group.
